Common cable accessories include cable terminal junction boxes, cable center junction boxes, connecting tubes and terminals, steel cable trays, and cable bridges.
A cable center joint is a device that connects the conductors, insulation shielding layers, and protective layers of cables, allowing for the connection of cable lines.
(1) Ensure that all supports are complete and the paint is intact.
(2) Verify that the cable type, voltage, and specifications match the design requirements.
(3) Check the cable insulation. If there is any doubt about the sealing of oil-paper cables, perform moisture testing; direct-buried cables and small bottom cables should pass DC withstand voltage testing; oil-filled cable oil samples should meet test standards.
(4) The oil pressure of oil-filled cables should not be lower than 1.47 MPa.
The outer sheath protects the inner layers from mechanical damage and chemical corrosion and enhances mechanical strength.
The insulation material should have the following key properties:
High breakdown strength
Low dielectric loss
High insulation resistance
Excellent discharge resistance
Certain flexibility and mechanical strength
Long-term stability of insulation performance
(1) Air compressor: Mainly used to break the road surface in preparation for cable laying.
(2) Electric winch or cable pulling machine: Mainly used to pull the cable.
(3) Cable conveyor: Used with the pulling machine to overcome significant friction and reduce cable damage.
(4) Cable reel stands.
(5) Roller equipment.
(6) Anti-twisting device: Reduces twisting of steel wire ropes.
(7) Cable reel braking equipment.
(8) Tension meter.
